These images are special combination of photographic and post-production technique.  Each panoramic landscape is carefully stitched together with multiple images and exposure settings.  The end result is a seamless, incredibly high-resolution image with astonishing detail and dynamic tonal range.

My most ambitious panoramic landscape to date is equivalent to 3,333 megapixles (100,000 x 33,333 pixels for a 3:1 aspect ratio), which required approximately 145 source images.  If printed, this image would still be very sharp at 55 feet long and 18 feet high!  I recommend framing these panoramic landscape photos at a more practical 12x36" size.
